Cookie Policy
Last updated: 3 October 2026
This Cookie Policy lists every cookie and similar browser-storage key Aura AI Agents L.L.C-FZ uses on Aura AI Visibility. We keep this deliberately minimal: the Service sets no third-party advertising, analytics or cross-site tracking cookies, and none of the items below is used to follow you across other websites. One first-party cookie, aura-attribution, remembers which of our own campaign links brought you here; it is described below. Visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland are asked first, and it is set for them only if they accept.
1. What we use
| Name | Type | Purpose | Contains | Lifetime |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| aura-theme | local storage | Remembers that you chose dark mode | "dark" | until you switch back or clear it |
| aura-session | cookie (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax) | Signs Monitor subscribers in to their dashboard | your subscription email, the domains you may view, the issue time, and a signature | 30 days; also rejected server-side after 30 days |
| aura-admin | cookie (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax) | Signs Aura staff in to the operator panel; never set for customers | a signed token | 7 days |
| aura-attribution | cookie (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax) | Remembers which campaign link or advert brought you to the site, so we can tell whether that campaign led to a scan, a sign-up or a subscription | for the first and the most recent campaign link you arrived on: its campaign labels (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_term, utm_content), the click identifier an advertising platform appended to it (for example gclid or msclkid), and the time you arrived. No name, email address or account identifier | 90 days from your most recent arrival through a campaign link, and a campaign is credited for at most 90 days after the visit it brought. Set only when the link you arrive on carries one of those parameters. For visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland (judged from the country our host derives from your connection's IP address) it is set only after you accept the consent banner: on the page you accepted on, if that page came from a campaign link, and on later campaign links |
| aura-consent | cookie (HttpOnly, Secure, SameSite=Lax) | Remembers your answer to the consent banner, so it is not asked again on every page. Set when you answer the banner or the form in section 3, which are shown only to visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom or Switzerland | 1.granted or 1.denied: your answer and the version of the question you answered | 180 days, then the banner asks again |
| Stripe cookies | cookies on checkout.stripe.com | Fraud prevention and completing payment on Stripe's own pages | set and read by Stripe | per Stripe's cookie policy |
The theme key, the two sign-in cookies and the consent cookie are strictly necessary for the feature you are using. The attribution cookie is not: it is our own campaign measurement, and it is read only by our own servers (when you subscribe, its campaign labels and click identifier travel with your checkout to Stripe, as the Privacy Policy explains). Where the law requires consent before such a cookie is set, which we take to be the EEA, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a banner asks you first. If you decline or do not answer, the cookie is not set and no click identifier is recorded; we only note the campaign labels of the page you are on when you scan, sign up or subscribe. The local-storage key never leaves your browser.
2. What we do not use
- No third-party advertising or retargeting cookies, and no advertising identifier of our own.
- No cross-site tracking or social media pixels. The attribution cookie is first-party and no other website or script can read it.
- No third-party analytics cookies. Share-link activity and campaign results are counted on our own servers.
3. Your consent choice
From your location the site does not ask for consent, so there is no choice to change here; you can delete the attribution cookie at any time in your browser settings.
4. Managing cookies
You can clear local storage and cookies at any time through your browser settings. Clearing them resets the theme to light, forgets which campaign brought you here and your consent answer (so the banner asks again where it applies), and signs you out of the Monitor dashboard (use the sign-in link on the dashboard to get back in). Blocking Stripe's cookies may prevent checkout from completing.
5. Changes
If we introduce new cookies or storage, we will list them here first and, where required by law, ask for your consent before setting them.
